Peter E. Mina is a Senior Associate with the firm and focuses his practice in federal personnel and employment law.
Peter provides representation to federal employees in a wide range of personnel matters, including disciplinary actions, whistleblower claims, and equal employment opportunity matters. Over the course of his career, he has represented both private and public sector employees in discrimination matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the D.C. Human Rights Act.
Peter has practiced before Federal, State, and District of Columbia Courts, in addition to representing clients before the Merit Systems Protection Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Peter served as an associate for a well-respected federal employment law firm in Washington, D.C. He frequently represented federal managers and employees in various aspects of employment litigation and participated in the mediation of equal employment opportunity complaints and appeals before the Merit Systems Protection Board.
After graduating from the University of Virginia, Peter received his Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School. While pursuing his law degree, he served as a certified student attorney for both the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau Homelessness Litigation Clinic.
Peter is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
